Who am I?
I have been cycle touring for a few years, have cycled extensively around the South Island of New Zealand, and cycle toured from Turkey to Germany.
Along the way I have met many other touring cyclists and been amazed at the extravagances and excesses they have gone to getting equipped
This site is to lay out some of the things I have learned so that even the most basically financed person can enjoy cycle touring.
Cycle touring is not about the gear, its about the experiences and people you meet on your journey.
